Morning Prayer

Lord, I praise you in the morning as You given me breathe
that I may have strength and opportunity
to do what I am called for
to serve You and glorify Your name.

Help me, as I continue with my day
That I would not enter any temptation
Nor entangled by earthly lust and enjoyment
Lest that I distract from the purpose You had set before me.

Guide me, as I go through all the challenges
Give me strength and wisdom to face them
And as I claim victory over them
I give glory to Your name.

Teach me, to count Your grace in the night
Certainly You had much mercy on me
But only if You shows them to me
Else I couldn’t see them
And hence give You the glory that is due You.
