2012-02-20

I waited patiently for the LORD;
he turned to me and heard my cry.
He lifted me out of the slimy pit,
out of the mud and mire;
he set my feet on a rock
and gave me a firm place to stand.
He put a new song in my mouth,
a hymn of praise to our God.
Many will see and fear the LORD
and put their trust in him.

How many years had passed and she haven't out of my mind.
But You were there, and still here with me.
When I'm down to most misery, You saved me.
And now, You reminds me to look up to you again.

How many years more to come and she haven't show up.
But You are here, and will still be.
When I felt most lost, You saves me.
And now, You shows Your hands and lead me in.

How many years this loneliness will sustain I do not know.
But You never revealed, so I settle for how it be.
When I meet again this wretched feeling, please save me.
And then, You brings me through to joyous tree.

But as for me, I am poor and needy;
may the Lord think of me.
You are my help and my deliverer;
you are my God, do not delay.
