Lord, You alone are God
Above the storm
Above the roaring sea
You rides on tornado
And on rolling thunder
The fault lines of quakes
Are left Your footprints

We are but dust
We are hopeless sinners
We do nothing else than trespasses
We offer You nothing
Except guilt of broken heart
"Have mercy on Your sinful servant!"
Is the only plea I have before You

It is in You alone
Through faith Spirit wrought
The grace and seal
That constantly bring us back to You
For Your faithfulness is great
Your love endures forever
You give me hope when hope is gone

Save me
Cleanse me
Give me hope
Empower me
Pull me
Work in me
Carry me on

For Your glory alone

In suffering

Lord, I beg You
Deliver me
Set me free
From the Past that
Strangling me
Holding me back
To pursue Your wonderful gifts
That You had set before me since even
Time started to tick

Lord, I beg You
Enlighten me
Show me Your marvelous acts of Salvation
So that I know how great Your grace is
Which is sufficient to
Set me free
From the sinful nature
And guilt
That hinder me to move forward
To complete the tasks You planned for me

Lord, I beg You
Strengthen me
That I may praise You
Honor and glorify You
For You will receive all glory
That is due You
As the Lord Creator, Savior
And Lord of Providence
Your loving kindness and wisdom
Is what assured me
That there is hope in You

Lord, I beg You
Listen to my prayer
This yearning of weaker
Crying of a broken spirit
Lord You'll never despise.
In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ
Who moves in a mysterious way

Apologist

Lord, Creator of all, Sovereign of history, hear my plea:
You created me in Your image, hence I know You deep in my heart.
Not only me, all people around me too, they know You, the only God.
Though we fell from You, the stain blind our eyes,
but You saved me, renewed me, and reforming me to Your likeness.
So I stand before You, seeing You clearly
bow down before You, know You, and only You, are God.

You revealed Yourself, clearly, sufficiently, authoritatively, necessarily
for us, that we might glorify You and to enjoy in You forever,
through the stars in the night sky
and written Word Your Spirit inspired
I now have the Truth with me for sure
yet the trouble arouses to interpret it.

Lord of Truth, You are the Truth.
There is no truth other than You
so God I pray to You
for from You are all wisdom and understanding
that I may be saved in You alone
so I may reason with Your power, wisdom, and confident with gentleness
to those who yet to understand rightly
if not completely, what You are telling us through Your scripture.

May the Holy Spirit, that is the Spirit of truth and righteousness,
Guide me, lead me, teach me,
to preach the truth in a tongue of learner.
In Jesus' name,

Who lifted me
from the darkest valley

however severe the temptation
